The longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century, retired from service in 1992 and now a floating museum on the San Diego waterfront. You can walk the flight deck, climb into the cockpits of around 30 restored aircraft, tour the hangar bays and crew quarters, and try a flight simulator. Audio tours are narrated by Midway sailors. Expect to spend three to four hours.
