Mystic has plenty of tourist-facing food, but the river setting saves some of it from feeling purely packaged. Seafood is the obvious choice, though the most famous name in town is still Mystic Pizza. For a quieter meal, look toward Noank or Stonington after the day-trip crowds thin out.
