The Brick Hotel on the Circle is one of Georgetown's most prominent historic structures, a handsome Federal-style building that dates from the early 19th century. It later housed a bank branch and has been repurposed over the years, but the exterior retains the character of early American small-town commercial architecture. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The building anchors the northwest side of the Circle and is best appreciated from the outside as part of the overall historic streetscape. Several other notable 19th-century structures cluster nearby, including the Richards Mansion and the Judge's House and Law Office, all within a short walk.
