Crooked Hammock is a brewpub on the highway out toward Rehoboth, set on a big lawn with picnic tables, a firepit, and cornhole boards. The beers — easy-drinking ales, IPAs, a decent lager — are made on site. The food is American bar food done a step better than it needs to be: smashburgers, smoked wings, decent fries.
It is not in the old town; you will need to drive, or pedal there on the bike trail. Worth it for the outdoor space and the kid-friendly atmosphere if you are travelling with a family.
