Henderson Beach protects one of Destin's best stretches of Gulf sand, with dunes, boardwalks, picnic pavilions, and a short nature trail behind the beach. It is still a beach day, not wilderness, but the state park setting gives you more space and less commercial noise than most public accesses in town.
