Edwinola Hotel

The Edwinola opened in 1912 as a luxury railway hotel — three storeys of brick, with a wide veranda and rocking chairs, advertised to wealthy northerners coming south on the Atlantic Coast Line. It is the most prominent piece of historic architecture in Dade City after the courthouse.

The building is now part of a senior living complex but the original facade has been carefully preserved and the ground-floor Edwinola Restaurant is open to the public. Worth a look from the outside even if you are not stopping for a meal.
