One of the oldest professional regional theatres in Florida, operating on the grounds of New College and the Ringling estate. The current theatre is a reconstructed 19th-century Italian court theatre, reassembled piece by piece after being salvaged in Asolo, Italy. The season runs roughly November through June; productions lean toward American and European classics. Worth checking their schedule if you're in town.
