Little Five Points

Atlanta's bohemian quarter, at the five-way intersection of Moreland, Euclid, and McLendon Avenues, about three miles east of downtown. Little Five Points (locally L5P) has the city's densest concentration of vintage shops, record stores, used bookshops, dive bars, and tattoo parlours — the Brick Lane of Atlanta, with a more Southern hippie cast.

The Variety Playhouse, an old movie theatre converted to a music venue, anchors the live music scene. The Vortex Bar and Grill — entered through a giant grinning skull facade — is the indelible image of the neighbourhood. Cheaper than Midtown, weirder than Inman Park.
