Kiahuna Beach is a softer, simpler strand just west of Poipu Beach Park. It fronts resort lawns and condos, but the sand is public and the setting is easygoing when the water is calm.
It is less of an all-day destination than Poipu Beach Park, mostly because facilities are thinner and conditions can change. Still, it is a fine choice when you want a lower-key swim or a sunset walk without the full scene at the main park.
