The Idaho Falls Idaho Temple is one of the city's defining landmarks, a pale single-spire LDS temple set beside the Snake River. Non-members cannot enter the temple itself, but the grounds are open and the building gives the riverfront skyline its most distinctive silhouette.
It is worth seeing as part of a walk rather than as a standalone destination. From the opposite bank, the temple, the river, and the falls line up in the view that appears on many Idaho Falls postcards.
