Panida Theater

Restored 1927 vaudeville and movie house in downtown Sandpoint.

The Panida Theater opened in 1927 as a vaudeville and movie house, and its name still says what it was built to serve: the Panhandle of Idaho. The Spanish Mission-style frontage and old marquee give downtown Sandpoint a proper small-town landmark.

Check the calendar rather than treating it only as a photo stop. Films, concerts, community performances, and touring acts make it one of the easiest ways to see Sandpoint as a living town, not just a lake base.
