A small high-altitude garden about four miles south of Ketchum, with native Idaho plants laid out across five acres. The centrepiece is the Garden of Infinite Compassion, a Tibetan-inspired space blessed by the Dalai Lama on his 2005 visit, with a slate prayer wheel and a small reflecting pool.
The garden is open dawn to dusk year-round, free of charge. It is at its best in July and August when the alpine wildflowers are out. The visitor centre runs occasional workshops on high-desert gardening and Wood River plant ecology.
