Sun Valley Museum of Art

The Sun Valley Museum of Art, in a converted bank building on Main Street in Ketchum, runs a rotating exhibition programme and a respectable summer lecture series. It is the oldest arts organisation in the Wood River Valley, founded in 1971, and has steadily collected work by Idaho artists alongside touring shows.

Admission is free. Allow an hour. The bookshop in the lobby has a strong section on Western American art and on the cultural history of the resort era.
