Weiser is on US Highway 95 in southwest Idaho, about 80 kilometres northwest of Boise and right on the Oregon border. It's a straightforward drive from Boise — take I-84 west to Caldwell, then US-95 north. There's no passenger rail or intercity bus service to Weiser; a car is essentially required. The nearest airport with regular commercial flights is Boise Airport.
During festival week in June, the town fills up fast. Book accommodation in Weiser or in nearby Ontario, Oregon (just across the border) well in advance if you're coming for the fiddlers' contest.
