The R. D. Fletcher House, sometimes called the George Allen Dicus House for the doctor who owned it after the Fletchers, was built in 1893 in a transitional Queen Anne / Colonial Revival style. The brick-and-frame house has a corner turret, a heavy classical porch, and finely worked interior woodwork.
It is privately owned but listed on the National Register and visible from the street. Together with the nearby Silas Williams House, it gives a sense of how the upper end of Streator lived during the town's industrial peak.
