Scottish Rite Cathedral

A monumental Tudor Gothic limestone hall on North Meridian Street, finished in 1929 — the largest Scottish Rite Masonic facility in the world. The building is a riot of carved oak, stained glass, hand-laid marble, and one of the largest pipe organs in any cathedral in the United States (over 7,000 pipes).

The Masons run guided public tours most weekday afternoons. The auditorium is also a popular wedding and concert venue. Free admission to tours.
