Nicodemus is in Graham County in north-central Kansas, about 270 km (170 miles) northwest of Wichita and roughly 300 km (185 miles) west of Salina. There is no public transport to or from the town. A car is essential.
From Wichita, take I-70 west to Hays, then head north on US-183 to Hill City, then west on US-24 toward Nicodemus — the journey takes around two and a half hours. From Colby on I-70, head south on US-183 to Hill City and then west; the drive is about 90 minutes from Colby.
The nearest towns with fuel and food are Hill City (about 35 km / 22 miles south) and Colby (about 65 km / 40 miles northwest). Bogue, Kansas, 7 km to the southwest, is the closest settlement but has very limited services. Plan your fuel and meals before you arrive — Nicodemus itself has no services.
