Wellington is a small town, and that's part of its appeal. The main draws are the Chisholm Trail Museum, the handsome downtown historic district, and the annual Wheat Festival in July. You can see everything worth seeing in an afternoon, but the museum alone justifies a stop if you're driving through southern Kansas.
