Franklin sits right off Interstate 65 at Exit 2, just inside the Kentucky line, about 45 miles north of Nashville and 65 miles south of Bowling Green. The drive from Nashville International Airport takes under an hour; Bowling Green and Nashville BNA are the two closest airports.
There is no commercial bus service to speak of. A car is essentially required.
