A downtown bar with a small stage that books anything other than mainstream Cajun — punk, jazz, hip-hop, brass bands, occasional zydeco. The art on the walls rotates monthly and is usually for sale.
The food (bar burgers, fried catfish po-boys) is decent for a music venue. A useful counter-balance if you have spent the previous three nights at a Cajun fais-do-do.
