Lafayette's sights are not Lafayette's point — the food, the music, and the dance halls are. But there is a strong cluster of Acadian and Creole history museums, several decent art galleries, and a string of evocative old buildings around the downtown core. The cultural sites pair well with a couple of evenings on a dance floor.
