A small, family-run Cajun spot tucked into a strip mall on Pierremont. The menu is short and good: gumbo, étouffée, fried catfish, blackened redfish, and bread pudding. The owners are from south Louisiana and the cooking shows it — this is the closest thing in Shreveport to the food of the bayou parishes.
Reservations are essential at weekends; the dining room is small. BYOB.
