A long-established Mount Desert Island brewery with a taproom on Cottage Street in town and a larger brewery and beer garden out at Town Hill. Beers run from a clean Coal Porter to a juicy Real Ale; the Blueberry Ale is the one everyone tries once.
Food trucks share the larger location and a smoked-meat menu fills the taproom. Live music two or three nights a week in season.
