The Androscoggin Swinging Bridge was built for mill workers crossing between Topsham and Brunswick. Today it is a short, pleasant walk with river views and a bit of old industrial geography.
It is not a grand sight, but it gives Brunswick a useful pause away from Maine Street and Bowdoin.
