The Old Port has a dense bar scene — cocktail bars, brewery taprooms, oyster bars, dive bars, all packed into the same few blocks. For Portland's serious craft beer industry, head out to the East Bayside neighbourhood, the so-called Yeast Bayside, where half a dozen breweries cluster within a few minutes' walk.
