Annmarie Sculpture Garden is a wooded arts centre just north of the island, with outdoor sculpture, native plantings, family play areas, and indoor gallery space. It is a useful counterweight to the maritime history in town: quieter, greener, and better in hot weather than another hour on pavement.
It is close enough to treat as part of Solomons rather than a separate trip. Check hours before heading over, as programs and seasons affect what is open.
