The Solomons boardwalk runs along the waterfront near the southern end of the island. It is short, but it gives the town its easy public face: river views, small shops, restaurants, and the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge in the background.
Come here between museum stops or before dinner. It is not a grand promenade, just a pleasant piece of Chesapeake waterfront that makes Solomons feel like a place rather than a road junction.
