Beverly is on the MBTA Commuter Rail's Newburyport/Rockport Line, with direct trains from Boston's North Station running roughly every 30–60 minutes. The journey takes about 35–45 minutes and drops you at Beverly Depot on Rantoul Street, a short walk from the downtown Cabot Street corridor. Salem is one stop west.
By car, Beverly is reached via Route 128 (I-95) or Route 1A north from Salem. From Boston, take Route 1 north and connect to Route 128 east. Parking in the downtown area is generally available on side streets and in municipal lots.
