Scituate Lighthouse

Granite 1810 lighthouse on Cedar Point, with harbour views, rocks, and a small beach.

Scituate Lighthouse is the town's best-known sight, an 1810 granite tower at Cedar Point. The lighthouse itself is modest, but the setting does the work: rocks, harbour water, jetties, and a small sandy beach beside it.

The outside historical displays tell the local story, and the area is especially good in clear summer weather. Parking is limited, so arriving early is easier than circling later.
