Marconi Beach is Wellfleet's most straightforward ocean-beach classic: high dunes, cold Atlantic surf, big sky, and a sense of exposure that the bay side never quite has. It is part of Cape Cod National Seashore, so facilities and seasonal lifeguard arrangements follow the park service rhythm.
Even if you do not swim, stop for the dune view. The beach makes the Cape's narrow geography obvious: a strip of sand and scrub facing open ocean.
