Leila Arboretum

Seventy-two-acre public garden with mature trees, sculptures, and year-round walking paths.

Leila Arboretum is a 72-acre public garden west of downtown, with mature trees, lawns, sculptures, and open paths. Many of the plantings date to the early 20th century, when the grounds were laid out in a formal garden style.

It is not a grand botanical garden, but it is a good local walk and a useful green break if you are spending a day in Battle Creek.
