Kalamazoo Valley Museum is a free, family-friendly museum with local history, science exhibits, and hands-on displays. It is especially good for understanding how this modest city grew around industry, education, rail, and the Kalamazoo River valley.
The museum is downtown, so it is easy to fold into a short city walk even if you are mainly here for Air Zoo or Bell's.
