Indoor theme park at the centre of Mall of America

A seven-acre indoor amusement park at the centre of Mall of America, with over 25 rides ranging from a log flume and roller coasters (including the Barnyard Blaster, which can be seen from multiple floors of the mall) to gentler attractions for young children. The park operates entirely indoors under a glass roof, which means it's usable in January as comfortably as in July — rare for Minnesota. Individual ride tickets or all-day wristbands are available. On school-holiday weekends it gets very crowded; weekday mornings are significantly calmer.

A story
Nickelodeon Universe occupies the seven-acre atrium at the heart of Mall of America, under a skylit roof. When the mall opened in 1992 it was called Knott's Camp Snoopy — a partnership with Knott's Berry Farm. After that deal ended, the park was renamed Camp Snoopy, then Nickelodeon Universe in 2008. It operates year-round without heating, relying entirely on body heat from visitors and waste heat from the rides.
