A turreted Victorian mansion on the north end of downtown known locally as "The Castle," built in 1901 for Austin North, a prosperous Billings businessman. The building is a rarity in this part of Montana — a genuine High Victorian pile with stone construction, corner towers, and elaborate carved stonework, standing somewhat incongruously in a low-rise western city.
The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been used for various purposes over the years and is visible from the street. If you are walking through the historic district, it is an easy detour.
