The Museum of the Plains Indian is Browning's strongest attraction. Founded in 1941, it holds clothing, horse gear, household objects, weapons, art, and other material from Blackfeet and neighbouring Northern Plains peoples.
It is small enough to visit without museum fatigue, but serious enough to change how you read the country around Glacier. Go before driving deeper into the reservation if you can.
