Havre Beneath the Streets is the town's best-known attraction, and it is stranger than a standard local-history museum. After a major fire in the early 1900s, businesses used basement spaces while the town rebuilt above them; today's guided tour recreates that underground world.
Expect storefronts, a saloon, a laundry, a bordello, and a lot of frontier-town texture. It is staged, but the idea behind it is real enough to make the tour stick.
