Lone Pine State Park is a forested ridge park just southwest of Kalispell, with about 7.5 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and horseback riding. The trails climb through open woods and viewpoints over the Flathead Valley, making it a useful short nature stop close to town.
The visitor center has local natural history displays and trail information. An all-terrain track chair can be reserved for visitors who need it.
