The Charlie Russell Chew Choo is a seasonal dinner train based from the Lewistown area, running through Central Montana's open country with trestles, a tunnel, and long prairie views. It is touristy in the old-fashioned way, but that suits it.
Check dates before building a trip around it, since departures are limited. When it is running, it gives Lewistown a rare evening activity and a different way to see the Judith Basin without driving yourself down gravel roads.
