Trego Hot Springs

Trego Hot Springs is a free, clothing-optional soaking spot about 17 miles east of Gerlach on the edge of the Black Rock Desert playa. The springs feed several rock-lined pools of varying temperatures, ranging from warm to almost too hot. The site marks the location of Trego, a former Western Pacific Railroad station, and sits within BLM land so there is no fee or permit needed. It is one of the most accessible natural hot springs in Nevada and draws visitors year-round, though it is most popular in spring and autumn when the desert temperatures are mild.
