Springs Preserve is a large cultural and nature complex built around the desert springs that made Las Vegas possible. It combines museums, desert gardens, wildlife exhibits, and walking trails, giving useful context for the city beyond the Strip.
It is one of the better family-friendly daytime stops in Las Vegas. Come for the gardens and exhibits on desert ecology, water, and local history, and allow enough time to walk some of the outdoor trails when the weather is reasonable.
