Town Square is the soft centre of Waterville Valley: shops, casual food, the pond, and seasonal boats in one walkable cluster. It is not a historic downtown, and it should not be oversold as one.
Use it between bigger activities. After a hike or ski day, the square is where the resort village becomes practical: coffee, supplies, a short stroll, and a place to sit without driving back down the valley.
