Morristown is best reached by train from New York. NJ Transit's Morristown Line runs direct from Penn Station to Morristown station in about 50 minutes; trains run frequently on weekdays, less so on weekends. The station is a five-minute walk from the Green.
By car, Morristown is about 30 miles west of Manhattan via I-78 or I-287. Parking downtown is metered on the streets and in municipal lots, generally easy to find outside peak hours.
