Las Cruces is served by the Las Cruces International Airport, but commercial flights are extremely limited. Most visitors fly into El Paso International Airport in Texas, about an hour's drive south, which has regular connections to major US hubs. Car rental at El Paso airport is straightforward and driving north on I-25 to Las Cruces takes about 45 minutes.
Greyhound buses connect Las Cruces to El Paso, Albuquerque, and other regional cities. The drive from Albuquerque via I-25 takes around three and a half hours, passing through the beautiful Jornada del Muerto desert. From Tucson, the drive via I-10 takes about three hours through the Chihuahuan Desert. Las Cruces sits at the junction of I-10 and I-25, making it a natural stopping point between Texas, Arizona, and northern New Mexico.
