Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski Area sits up on Bobcat Pass, where the air is colder and the views open beyond Red River's narrow valley. When conditions cooperate, it is the quieter winter alternative to the downhill ski hill: classic skiing, skate skiing, snowshoeing, and a slower way to be in the forest.
Check conditions before building a day around it. Snowfall has become less predictable, and the operator's season can vary, but when the trails are open this is one of Red River's best low-key winter experiences.
