Founded in 1998, Ithaca Beer was an early upstate New York craft brewery and remains the town's pride. The taproom on Elmira Road sits in a converted warehouse with high ceilings, a long bar, and tables both inside and out on the lawn. The Flower Power IPA is the year-round flagship; seasonal sours and Apricot Wheat are reliably good.
The kitchen does competent pub food — burgers, wood-fired pizza, salads built from Finger Lakes farms. The tap list is long and rotates often. Easy to combine with a swim at the nearby Buttermilk Falls. Open seven days, lunch through evening.
