26 Broadway is the former Standard Oil Building, first built in the 1880s and expanded into its present landmark form by 1928. Its curved lower floors and tapering tower make it one of the Financial District's more distinctive early corporate skyscrapers.
It is best seen as part of a Lower Manhattan architecture walk near Bowling Green, Wall Street, and Battery Park.
