Sunset Theatre is the small cultural anchor of downtown Asheboro, a restored old movie house used for films, concerts, community performances and events. It gives the centre a real landmark beyond shops and courthouse architecture.
Check the programme rather than assuming there will be something on. Even when closed, it is worth passing as part of a short downtown walk.
