Inside the Knobloch Campus Center, the 620-seat Duke Family Performance Hall hosts the college's serious concert and theatre programme: classical recitals, jazz, contemporary dance, touring theatre, lectures by visiting writers. The acoustics are excellent and the room is intimate enough that there is no bad seat.
Many performances are free to the public; ticketed shows are reasonably priced. The performance calendar is published on the Davidson College Presents website and is worth checking if you find yourself in the area.
