Bicentennial Park

Bicentennial Park is the small public waterfront at the edge of downtown, beside the White Oak River bridge. It has a boardwalk, fishing dock, benches, picnic space, and historical markers, so it works as both a pause in a town walk and a place to watch boats move through the waterway.

The park also has the Otway Burns statue, a reminder of the local privateer and shipbuilder tied to early North Carolina steamboat history.
