Dakota Territory Air Museum is stronger than its out-of-the-way location suggests, with more than 60 aircraft and a good mix of military, civilian and World War II material. Some aircraft are airworthy, which gives the collection more life than a static hangar full of machinery.
It sits near the airport on the north side of town. Anyone with an interest in aviation should put it ahead of Minot's smaller downtown museums.
